Weekend Play Date

I finally had 2 whole days to just play around, with some of my new goodies, that I have been buying lately. First up, I used the giant Maya Roads bottlecaps and the adorable, little spools to create these two ornaments. I still need to add the ribbon at the top so they can hang.

I wrapped the spools with embroidery floss and I made mock bolts of fabric using cardstock and pp. I pop dotted some embellishments to give the piece dimension. The papers are from the Material Girl line by Cosmo Cricket.

I need to take photos today of the other things I worked on. Stay tuned tomorrow for what's next!
