Okay, so this is a bit of a cheat, because this was my work space last Wednesday. I was busy making cards that I could send to my Godchildren throughout the month of December.
Here are two of the cards that I made that day. I kept it simple by using an embossed background and some $1.00 Studio G stamps. I added a little touch of glitter for some sparkle and a small pom-pom for the perfect finishing touch.
They are young and I try to send out a card each week, so keeping them simple is a must. They love getting mail and usually always write back; something many kids don't do anymore. If you have any ideas, please share. I could use all of the inspiration I can get. My goal is to have them receive 52 cards for 2012. Am I crazy or what? Please don't answer that. lol...

oh these are just way too cute! love that little santa!
SUPER cute cards and your space looks fun and Christmassy!
thats an awesome goal and a great idea for kids! idk how old your Godchildren are but its great practice for reading and/or writing depending on their age in a really fun way!
adorable cards! good luck with the remaining cards!
1) I LOVE the pom poms and 2) I LOVE that you're sending your Godchildren a card each week :)
Your work dest looks pretty organized for working on cards.
Your cards are so adorable. The pom pom nose and on the hat are the perfect touch.
Wow you are taking on an ordeal. That is a lot of cards.
A tip may be to do the holiday and birthday ones and them fill the others in.
Cute cards! I love sets with the same background but different images and sentiments. Love the pom pom and the stickles - makes the cards pop! :)
So cute, I love the white embossed background, such a nice touch!
I don't know if you'd find any inspiration in my cards, but I find yours very inspiring :p
Love the simplicity of this...beautiful.
Your cards are too cute! They have such a whimsy and fun look to them! As for the cards for your godchildren, I know they love it! Kids really don't do a lot of letter writing nowadays, so its great that you are doing that for them! My suggestion for your 52 weeks is to fill in their birthdays, holidays throughout the year, one with each of their favorite colors, different themes for the seasons, and a couple with paper dolls displaying their interests. Also, do they have a special box to put all of their cards in? That could be a present or something you all can do together!
