WOYWW 176

There really isn't too much going on here today, well, at least not in the studio. The kitchen remodel is in full swing. The floor was completed yesterday and now the cabinets are being started. The dust and mess is horrible. Worth it I am sure, but yuck!

So here is my desk this morning. I am playing around with Christmas ATC's just so I can stay inspired. I don't want a lot of my supplies out because they will get covered in filth, but a girl has to have a little fun amid the chaos. I have out my stack of holiday stamps and a few copics. I am fussy cutting a few images in between loads of laundry. (The washer and dryer were put back in early this morning.) Like I said, not making anything too fancy, just trying to stay creative.

That's it for me this week. I will try to be better at getting around to more desks than last week. If you want to see more spaces, then join our wonderful hostess, Julia for a peek into what others are crafting.

Thanks for your visit!

Dani

A girls has got to stay busy...right?

I do some of my best work in between loads of laundry cuz the laundry room is right beside my craft room. I can hear the load start and stop even with the buzzers off. It is sure easier to stay on top of the laundry when I am in a creative mood! teehee

Waiting for the pictures of your new kitchen!

You are a trooper! I don't know that I could keep crafting if I had a kitchen remodel going on. Thanks for sharing!

I know it's tough getting through the dust and muck, but you'll have a brand new kitchen at the end....*squeals of joy* !!
I'm making a couple of presents for someone but didn't want to say too much on my blog. I'll post a bit more when the event has happened!!

Hi Dani, thanks for visiting my blog earlier.....I'm still getting around to everyone's desks.
Hang in there with the reno, currently we're having works done outside in our courtyard and that's noisy and messy too but the end result will be worth it I'm sure.

The mess is a bummer but it is worth it in the end. You are way ahead of me, I don't even want to think of Christmas yet.
Have a great week.

Sometimes you just have to do whatever you can fit in something creative in between all the other jobs.Your desk looks very tidy even with the fussy cutting.

Glad to see you're still creating even with the mess of the kitchen remodel Dani, hope it gets sorted soon. We had granite counter tops put in our existing kitchen about five years ago, then my husband tiled the back splash and built a pantry, it seemed to go on for weeks!! Yes, that is a stamp and die set on my desk, it works brilliantly. It was from Archiver's, a Hero Arts/Archiver's exclusive set for $9.99 (but I had a coupon and got it for $7). Here's a link to there online store, it's sold out online at the moment but they might have it in the store if there's one near you. http://www.archiversannex.com/Christmas-Trees-Stamp-And-Cut-Set-Archivers-Exclusive-Z6098357/default.aspx?PageID=21&ProductID=64715&SPG=5&ItemID=120915&RootCatCode=

It's always a nightmare when you are having work done isn't it, nothing is clean and you feel so disorganised but it'll all be worth it I'm sure when you have a sparkly new kitchen.
I'm glad you are finding time for a bit of crafting too.

Glad to see that you are staying creative during the remodel. It is always good to have an escape from the madness. I like how you have only a little bit out so it won't get covered in remodel dust and you are doing it! I often plan to only get a little out just to stay in control and never end up doing it.

Thank you for the kind wishes about my kitty's passing and my test. It was time for Fido to move on to his next set of 9 lives. I think I did well on the test too. I complained about it every step of the way but I think I did well!

Even a bit of fussy cutting will keep you sane! No doubt the new kitchen will be fab, but I do understand the grit and filth thing!!

I totally understand what you mean about the dust and mess, and not wanting to get it all over your treasured stash! It's insidious, the dust from a remodel, seems to get everywhere! Make sure you share photos of your finished kitchen!
