And no, not the kind that you download. My daughter decided in the spring that she wanted to apply for a part-time job. She was both excited and nervous about the whole thing. I was also excited for her, but so sad to see that my baby was growing up so much.
I wanted to try and keep this page relatively flat because my albums are really getting thick. Every so often, I do one like this to help keep the balance in my books. To achieve this, I used a lot of stamps and sticker embellishments to accent my layout. I cut apart the doily to spread the color around the page. The tab was a border sticker that I cut apart so that I could use the one with her initial on it. I now have the others leftover to use on something else.
For those of you who want to know, she did get a job, and it was a great learning experience. Not a good one, but still a lesson learned. Now, she works at a job that she loves, and I am so proud of her.
Thanks for visiting-
Dani

Really nice layout! I am envious of people who can leave "space" in their layouts. I always like the look, but try as I might, I am just a "fill it all up" kinda girl! I'm a new follower!
Cute layout! I like the cut doilies.
Super cute layout!
What a great flat layout :) I can't imagine my girls applying for jobs but know that day will be here soon. I love how you spread the color around the page!
Cute layout!
I love this-esp the use of the doily-very cute!
Ah, what a wonderful layout! It totally reminds me of my first job and I don't have a single photo or anything to remind me of it. Love that you did this for her. So glad she's doing something she loves now - that's what's important. :)
What a great idea to scrap. I use those Thickers on everything! :)
Such a sweet page. I really don't like my girls growing up, but as parents we know they have to.
My oldest is now saving to buy a house...A House!
Where did the time go.
Love it...what a pretty daughter you have. Such a great smile!
I feel you, my albums are getting way too bulky too! What a nice LO! Good luck on the job hunt :)
This is great! And what a great memory to document! :)
Sorry I'm just getting around to comments this month.....thanks for visiting my blog earlier this month :). This page is great - such a great moment to capture :).
