WOYWW 139

I can't believe how fast these weeks pass, much less alone, the months. I know we all ask the same question, "Where does the time go?" I wish I knew the answer to that, but I am glad that I have this hobby which helps me to preserve moments in time so that we can re-visit them when we want.

Here we are at yet another week of WOYWW. If you don't know what that is, head on over to the Stamping Ground and check it out. On my desk, a layout in progress, a few stacks of photos, and some glass heart ornaments for another project that I am working on. I know a lot of you comment on how clean it usually is, that is because I put everything on the table beside me or on the floor while I scrap. I need my desk to be clutter free, but the rest of the flat surfaces are fair game. Maybe one day I will post a photo of the whole room when I am working on something. Maybe.

And we are already at week four in my card challenge. I can't believe how quickly these come either. I added a strip of bling to the card, but when I put it in the envelope, it really stuck out a lot. I was worried it would get caught in the machines and tear. To protect the envelope, I cut a strip of magic sponge to put over the bling. This product is very thin, but soft, so it protects the card by providing the perfect amount of cushion without adding the bulk. Works great!

Card #4
Hope you are having a wonderful week!

Dani

It does look tidy - oh, I'd like to see the rest! Beautiful card too.

I'm attempting to get around everyone's woyww posts this week (a new one for me!) I don't usually have time to get round everyone.
But I haven't done my own post yet - it'll have to wait til I get home from work this evening.

Lovely card, and you are right, your desk area is very neat and clean. So I would love to see what's all around you! My husband does the same thing, and I keep telling him the floor is not additional storage space, lol!

I really like your card. I wash I had some flat surfaces of a decent size to work on (sigh!). Oh well, maybe next week - we live in hope! LOL

I think your neat desk reflects your style, certainly in paper crafting. Nice and neat and precise and considered...lovely and refreshing for the likes of me! I LOVE the printed ( or stamped?) tagj on your desk.

I love the crafting going on on your desk! And great tip about the protecting the bling on mailing cards. I never use bling on my cards because I was afraid about it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm sorry to be getting around so late this week, a stomach virus had me knocked out for a few days :(

fab LO's.. and I now have ATG envy, i have a yellow and a pink one... now I see there's a red one... aaah, I need that one too lol Sorry am late, doing a mahoosive catch up today :O))

That is a great idea about that magic foam. Where do you get that? I did use a strip of bubble wrap on a couple of cards recently, but that can be quite bulky. Thank you for you=r visit and your kind comments. Those cubes behind my desk are so useful, and were designed and put together by my very clever husband. I have two more sets of them but in different sizes on two other walls above work surfaces. Have a good week. xx Maggie #112

Thanks for popping by, love the blinged up card :) x

Maggie, thanks for visiting! I think I bought the magic sponge at Hobby Lobby, but it was years ago. It came with a couple of sheets that I keep reusing, so it lasts a very long time.
